Unsplintered Interests

"And you, my son Solomon, 

Acknowledge the God of your father

Serve Him with wholehearted devotion

And with a willing mind

For the Lord searches every heart, and

understands 

every desire 

and every  thought.

If you seek Him, 

He will be found by you;

But if you forsake Him, He will reject you forever.

Consider now,

For the Lord has chosen you

to builld a house as a sanctuary

Be strong and do the work"

1 Chronicles 28: 9-10

May our apathy toward growing in God be removed

May we be un-sympathetic toward sin.

May our hard-heartedness toward our personal holiness be slayed

May we have a new heart and a new mind to seek the Lord

May we fear him reverently

May we know him intimately

May we use what we have, who we are and the things we do to build for Him a temple to reside in

May we do all these things in the strength of Him who calls us

May we have an unsplintered interest in our Lord Jesus Christ.
